Get back the power and torque your belt-driven accessories steal. Bolt on 8-10
“free” horsepower with Steeda’s underdrive pulleys. These pulleys slow down
your accessories about 25%, reducing the drag on your engine. They even bump
up gas mileage. Our pulleys are manufactured from billet steel, exceeding factory
quality. They're also SFI race approved. The one-piece crankshaft pulley uses a
high-tech injection molded bonded rubber damper, making it far more durable
than "piggyback style" underdrive pulleys.

Note
Midway through the production run for the 2001 model year Ford changed the design of the water pump on the 4.6L engine. The older style pump produced from 1996 to mid 2001 had a longer shaft. In January of 2001 the design of the pump was changed to a shorter shaft. This necessitated a change in the design of the pump pulley.

Steeda Quick Release Clutch Quadrant

The factory plastic self-adjusting quadrant is fine for stock clutches, but when you add a heavy duty clutch or some fast power-shifts, it starts to bend. This unwanted flex causes inconsistent clutch engagement and missed shifts at best, plus worn synchronizers and a broken quadrant at worst. Replace that weak plastic clutch quadrant with Steeda's super strong billet aluminum "Quick Release" quadrant. The strong flex free billet quadrant design stands up to the hardest shifts.

Steeda's billet clutch quadrant features a fast acting pedal ratio or "steeper ramp" to pull the clutch cable faster for quicker clutch release and reduced pedal travel. The increased pedal ratio increases pedal effort slightly, but the clutch releases quicker so the shift is over quicker and you wont notice the increased effort.

Requires a firewall mounted clutch adjuster, such as 555-7010 or 555-7020.

Clutch Components

We've tried them all, and these are by far the most reliable high performance clutches we've ever tested. Complete clutch kit with pressure plate, clutch disc, and throw-out bearing are available in Heavy Duty or "King Cobra" design. King Cobra pressure plate and clutch kits have the same clamping force as Heavy Duty clutch kits but feature revised internal geometry for 10% lighter pedal effort. Either one is strongly recommended for cars up to 450 horsepower, and even stock Mustangs if slicks are being used.

Mustangs using slicks with more than 375 horsepower , or any 'stang running with more than 450 horsepower should use the Dual Friction clutch disc with either the Heavy Duty or King Cobra pressure plate for quicker clutch engagement and less slippage.

Cobra R model 17" x 9" rims.

This is the hot rim to have these days. You can bolt them onto any '86-'98 stang. They are available from Ford Motorsport. But other manufacturers have created "look alike" versions of these rims that sell for much less. Easy to install. 17" dia x 9" wide, will fit P235's to P295 wide tires. Direct bolt on for SN95 5-lug stangs, '86-'93 stangs will net 5-lug conversion kit and a special off-set version of these rims for proper fit. Price for "Look Alike" $169.95 ea. This is something new we havn't seen. George has 2 more TV's in the visors - MW

I have two 12" hollywood excursion subwoofers with a 1200 watt hollywood amp. Ive got 3 Alpine tv screens(one in the steering wheel and 2 in the visors). I have a pioneer 7300 stereo with remote. For performance I have added BBK intake, custom flowmaster cat-back exhaust, custom x-pipe, JET Chip, Positive traction differential, 4.10 gears, and some pulleys. For looks i have 17" chrome IMAGE rims, and a Cobra R hood, eurotaillights, clear corners, hyperwhite side markers, StreetGlow undercar neons(green), StreetGlow green illuminating pedals, color changing gauges, blackouts, 5% tint, and Im planning to add a bodykit, and a lowering kit, but havent decided which one to go with.
